COLUMBIA MASTERS SWIMMING

Columbia Masters Swimming is a United States Masters Swim club. Locally, we are a program of the Aquatic Department of the Columbia Association’s (CA) Sport and Fitness Division in Columbia, Maryland.

Our masters program is for all levels of swimming. We welcome the beginner and the pro. Programs are open to all adult swimmers (fitness, triathlete, competitive, non-competitive) who are dedicated to improving their fitness through swimming.

Inclement Weather Policy

5:30am practices – decisions must be made very early in the am (prior to any announced HCPSS closings or delays), therefore it is very important that you check your email or call the inclement weather hotline (410) 715-3154. Conditions may also vary in different parts of the county. Bottom line, if the road conditions are questionable, don’t drive! Better to be safe and swim another day!

10:30am practices – will be cancelled if there is a 2 hour delay or school closure. A 1 hour delay will not cancel practice. These cancellations/delays are weather related only. Please check your email or call the swim center (410)730-7000.

Evenings – Typically those will be held regardless of HCPSS decisions UNLESS weather conditions remain dangerous! Please check your email or call the SSC (410)381-5355 if you are unsure.

Greetings and Happy New Year!!! The online meet entry for the Annapolis meet is now up! If you want to swim the 500 Fr, enter it ASAP! You must have a current (2011) USMS registration to enter the meet.
